   | Don't play with me like this, 2D... you really, really, really heard it with your own ears? Are you saying the incomparable Ms. Baker is finally after (what, like 85 years?) going to "Give Us The Best That She's Got" and produce a NEW album??

Man, I heard it in its entirety LESS THAN ONE HOUR AGO!
Ask your adult radio station if they have it. I'm telling you, it reminds me of the classic stuff she used to do. It doesn't seem like it's been almost 11 years since her single came out.
The CD doesn't come out until September, so you don't have to camp out just yet!

			New Music:.....
I have Brandy's new CD....it's a disappointment. Most of the songs sound the same (a few produced by Timberland), and she DOES pretty much tell all her business in the whole CD. She says her husband is bitter, seems he's not the only one. I like about 2 1/2 tracks.

I have Cam'Ron's delayed Purple Haze CD. It's decent at most.

 Tarralyn Ramsey's is nice too.

Angie Stone's Stone Love is a must have for the summer.

This song was to come out in '03. I don't know what happened.
Anyway, the video (no, this isn't the video thread) was shot at my AM and features Sorors, Kappas, Omegas (I think Deltas)...

with artist Jay-mee and Juve...

 | I like Brandy's CD. Some songs do seem a little on the bitter side, but then again what else would she talk about.

I also purchased Eightball & MJG's "Living Legends". It's the first rap/hip hop album I've bought in a looong time. It's not bad.

Angie's newest: so far so good. I love track 3 and 4 -
Now I need to listen to tracks 8-17

ETA: listened to it twice through and I am digging it. Worth my $9.99

Track #6 Lover's Ghetto samples Michael Jackson's "Lady in My Life"

 | Jadakiss is definitely trying to get his shine on this summer. I might have to cop his CD.
Lloyd Banks, on the other hand, I won't be bothered if I don't hear any of his music.

This CD has such a wonderful ol school vibe. Reminds me of the summer of 79.
