College Degree(s)

Hey y'all!! I was wondering in reading all of these posts (i.e. looking for a teaching position, etc.) what everyone's degree is in or what degree you are working towards?!?! I do not think this thread has been done before...but if so, let's make a new one now!!

1. Bachelor of Arts in Business and Organizational Communications/Public Relations

2. Masters of Public Administration.

ETA: Both degrees are from The University of Akron (Ohio)

BA in History from Arizona State

Begin working on my Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona this coming fall. I would LOVE to also get my Masters in History, but after the Elem. Ed, I'm gonna take a break from school for a while.

My majors were in English & Psychology, with an Early Childhood Education Certification. I'm a geriatric counselor. Trust me, it's not a big stretch!

Right now I'm getting my BA in history and Secondary Education. But in MO you have to get you masters at least in STL where I want to teach.

In PA, you have 2 years to get 24 more credits. A Masters is 30 credits. So, for 2 more classes & a dissertation, you can earn a minimum of $1k more a year!

I camethisclose to going for my Masters in Education, but got married instead. Boy, was that a BIG mistake!!
