Recruitment Vocabulary
So, I'm thinking of ways to improve recruitment this year to make it more effective. After each party each sister sits down and writes down 3-5 things about the PNM. This helps up get a general idea of what we thought of the girl. Although through this process we seem to get the same thing said over and over again from sisters like "she's nice". I want to make up a sheet to give my sisters at our first recruitment workshop so they can go over it and learn other words to use. I want to make a bout a page for them. I was wondering what words would be good to use?

ASTLuv,
I have a list of "action verbs" on my computer at work (and I'm at home right now), so when I am at work again I'll post some of those for you.
Meanwhile, here's some that come to mind on a lazy Saturday:
Involved, Spirited, Enthusiastic, Curious (asks good questions), Easy to approach, talkative (could be negative or positive!), Focused on ____ (academics, social opportunities), has a plan for her future (decided on major, knows if she's going to grad school/med school/etc).
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'll post more of those action verbs (which will probably help you think of more words to use) when I get to work.
One thing to do is to define what kind of member your chapter is looking for. Then make sure to have those descriptive words on your list.
Good thinking to be planning ahead!!!

Oh....another idea....
If your members always say "she's nice"....have them describe what "nice" means to them. Have a brainstorming session and tell people to say what they think of when they hear the word "nice". Write all of that down, and use some of those words on your list.

Interested, interesting, unique, fun, open-minded, creative, responsible, outgoing, shy, a good ___ (student, community service volunteer, leader...), involved, smart, party girl, hard worker, genuine... the list goes on.
Good idea though
