Baseball season is underway....

10 Games into the season
Cubs 6-4, with a three-game win streak
Sosa ties Ernie Bank's all-time Cub HR Record at 512

Sing it with me now....

Baseball season's underway
Well you better get ready for a brand new day.

Hey, Chicago, what do you say
The Cubs are gonna win today.

They're singing ...
Go, Cubs, go... Go, Cubs, go...

Hey, Chicago, what do you say
The Cubs are gonna win today.

They got the power, they got the speed
To be the best in the National League
Well this is the year and Cubs are real
So come on down to Wrigley Field

We're singing now ...

Go, Cubs, go... Go, Cubs, go....
Hey, Chicago, what do you say
The Cubs are gonna win today.

Baseball time is here again
You can catch it all on WGN
So stamp you feet and clap your hands
Chicago Cubs got the greatest fans.

You're singing now ...
Go, Cubs, go... Go, Cubs, go...
Hey, Chicago, what do you say
The Cubs are gonna win today.

What a great song that is.

How about that finish? I actually had a feeling the Cubs would come back to win once Dusty was ejected...

I only caught the last inning...I was worried when the Reds loaded the bases but luckily Sosa saved the day...ended the inning then hit the tying HR...which was outdone about 45 seconds later by Alou's

I watched Woods pitch when he was in ATL. 11 strike outs was impressive. Sosa drove me nuts with all his hand gestures though.

Lol Sosa was pretty cool though I mentioned corking the bat he just looked at me with his goofy smirk. I hope I get more Braves tickets from the company, because Cingular is a big sponser of the Braves. Those were some nice seat even though it was right field but I was right behind Sammy and JD Drew.

I saw a Braves-Cubs matchup at Turner field a few years ago...Maddux v Wood (back in his rookie year)... second level, first row, directly above third base. Great game...I forget who won but the score was 2-1.

CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!

About time they did, too. So they split the series with the Reds...now it is on to Pittsburgh.
