I guess I was part of the last generation to watch first-run Captain Kangaroo episodes. Seems like only yesterday that we lost Mr. Greeen Jeans.

Oh wow Mr. Green Jeans.Bunny rabbit and Mr. Moose, and of course the falling ping pong balls. This has been a sad week.First Ray Rayner,host of Chicago children's show, dies earlier this week and now Capt. Kangaroo.

I'm so sad! I LOVED Captain Kangaroo when I was little. I've been hoping they would put the episodes back on somewhere or on a movie/dvd that I could buy for my little darlings!

I heard about it last night on the news. I enjoyed watching him when I was growing up. He will be missed.
