Road Trip

A few of my Brothers and I were talking about making a road trip to see another Chapter over MLK weekend.

I wanted to see if any chapters are initiating or having any special event over that weekend and would like to have a few Alpha Brothers visit for the weekend.

what is the date of that weekend? i'm the Phi, so we might be able to schedule something around that time. only thing is, I'm in Florida, so it's a prettty good drive. EM...what do you think? anyone else in southeast US have any input. i personally would like to visit with at least 4 chapters this semester (as it is my last as an active brother) and I'm hoping at least a few of those will be initiations. perhaps ome chapters can give their prospective dates? maybe some of my boys and I could do some drivin'. who knows, it would be a great time. Thanks guys.

Grits bro...how have you been. You are all welcome here anytime. I'm not sure what's going on during MLK weekend, but if you pm me or call me at 352-745-2480 I can let you know when our Initiation week will be. I'm our new Phi. I'd love to stop by your chapter to... let me know what's up with you and your house. Perhaps we could do something together.

MLK is 1/19. If you'd put off that trip for one weekend, and come to Colorado, you can witness a chartering banquet!

yes, but i we are but young college students. in fact, i had no idea (to be honest) what month MLK weekend is...didnt know it was in January....i was thinking March sometime...oh well...man, it would be so fun to see a chartering. oh well, classes, classes, classes. Well, when the High Zeta gets back from Christmas break, and we finish off rush week and get our AM's going...I'll sit down and try to figure out what date Initiation is going to be...I'd like to have a lot of alumni there...Epsilon-Xi and more, if possible. we'll see once we get a little closer to that time of year...

EM...it certainly would be fun to fix something up...either a onding of Phi's or chapter event...distance is such a pain...oh well, tlk to you soon.

Hey guys! The Saturday after MLK Day (01/24/04), Grand Valley State University is hosting a regional Greek Leadership Conference. The cost is $20 if you register before the 12th, and $25 after (you can register at the conference Saturday morning if you need to). Our Zeta (Delta Theta) has heard from several other midwest Zetas that are sending guys, and it would be great to get a large LXA presence from all over at the conference.
