Smile Have you ever felt the magic?

...Of touching a pregnant women's belly?

I know it's a weird question, but a woman I used to work with is 8 months pregnant. I saw her today and she asked me if I wanted to feel the baby moving. She lifted up her shirt a little and let me feel her stomach. I could feel her little boy's hand (foot?) and felt him switching from side to side. It was really incredible. I started thinking about how amazed I am at God...I know I sounds melodramatic, but it's the truth.

Has anyone else experienced that...or something like it?

Well , You already know I have a 7 year old so yes I have. When I first saw my daughter kicking it reminded me of a scene in Aliens! LOL I could see her little foot poking at my belly! When I first felt it I was in Awe! It was really becoming real to me at that moment. That's a very emotional time that I wouldn't have traded for the world.

I heard that too AKA2D...I learned a valuable lesson...keep your hands to yourself. Besides, a lot of pregnant women don't like people touching their stomach especially random people they don't know. Can you blame them?

When my baby's mama was pregant, I sang the same song to my child every day, and she responded. At the moment she was born, I started singing it, and she seemed to want to come to me. We are very very close, and have always been.

For some reason, I found that to be the sweetest thing! It's proven though, the more you talk to it the closer you'll be.

AKA2D91, I heard that too but, DON'T Be Sceeeerd lol!

Yeah, I felt the magic alright... I made the mistake of touching one of my sorors belly and she WENT OFF! She told me I might as well have come up and grabbed her t***y. I learned my lesson...I always ask first!

*LOL* Ya'll are funny!

Anyways, like I said in my first post, she asked me if I wanted to touch him. I don't run around rubbing people! Random people like to stick their fingers in my hair so I know how that feels. *lol*

As far as the getting pregnant thing...trust me...Poplife is not having any kids...

I know where you are coming from poplife..I have a seven year old brother and when he first kicked me, I cried because I wanted a sibling for so long. However, I do know some women get offended and tired of people asking if you can touch their stomach. Like AKA2D'91 I was under the impression that if you touched you would be next in line for motherhood. I would love to be a mother, but God hasn't given me the sign that it is time for children!!! Aww SF Exquizit, I didn't know you are a mother, congratulations, maybe your daughter and my brother can talk. *wink*
