what to write to prospective AI?

Ok, so I am the new co-President of my alum chapter. The other co-President never dealt with AI, and now there is someone who is interested in us. She has not emailed me yet (international sent her my email address), so I thought I'd take the initiative and email her. However, I just don't know what to write. I'm guessing I should try to meet for coffee or something like that, but for people who have gone through this on either side, how did the emails look? What was in them? I don't want to scare her off with my enthusiasm, but I am just so excited about this! Any help would be great!

I would just tell her how you got her name and ask if you can help her get the process started. I would think she would be grateful for the email.

Also, maybe give her an idea of how your process works.........

Or, just say "hi, my name is ....... and I am ...... How can I help you get to know us?"

That sounds terrific and also maybe invite her to stuff like:
"we meet for brunch every 2nd month or we are going to the Art Gallery next month", etc. etc.

When I first heard back from a member of "Little Women," I was overjoyed by her enthusiasm. Be warm and friendly. We AI hopefuls just want to feel that we aren't stepping on toes, so to speak.
