Me and a couple brothers are gonna see it Friday night. It's either gonna be the worst movie ever or crap your pants funny. I'm betting on the latter. Josh, since you liked it, I better!

To be truthful i really want to see what's up with it, the writers are first timers which scare me and the guy who is Lloyd is the blonde guy from "Not another teen movie" and "The Hot CHick" while the guy playing Harry is a new guy as well, so let's see what its like. I think i am gonna be sad after i see it. It's just not gonna live up to the oiginal.

i dunno.
I'm thinking i might just wait until it comes out on video. I a HUGE Jim Carrey fan, well, at least early Jim Carrey, Ace Ventura, the Mask, D&D 1, and Cable Guy so i'm thinkin it may be strange to pay 7 bucks to see some kid do a 2 hour long Jim Carrey impersonation.
Although, if my bros go and say its worth it, i may get talked into going.

The first one was dumb enough...a second really wasn't necessary.

yeah, i agree......i think my sense of humor is pretty decent, but i just thought the first one was stoopid. and i LOVE jim carey, i think he's hilarious (whoa, bruce almighty...fun fun fun)...but i dunno. something about snot outta someone's nose just isn't really all that humorous to me. it was more gross than anything.....
but, i will prob see it anyway b/c there's enough guys i know who wanna drag me to it with them.... -sigh- oh joy, oh bliss.....

I completely agree. The scenes with Jim Carrey playing basketball is some of his funniest work ever. The first time I saw it, I was freaked out. Then, I saw it again and laughed my ass off. But then again, my favorite movie right now is Bubble Boy.

A great way to get Jim Carey box office take without actually using him in the film! I don't plan on seeing this one. Maybe when it goes to video.
The first one was okay. The only way this would be good was if it was much better written. The first one was saved by the cast.

I agree... my boyfriend & I have no plans to see it because it looks ... well.. dumb. I didn't like the first one, and I don't think I'll like the second one. Like Leslie mentioned I don't think a second one was neccessary. It doesn't look worth $7 to see it at the movies or even $4 to rent it @ blockbuster later on... for that matter, not even worth my time

OMG, I LOVED Dumb And Dumber.
Mock SI

I have a silly sense of humor though. Lots of Jim Carrey's classic lines came from this movie.
"Put another shrimp on the barbie."
"I like it alot."
ETA: I should *probably* respond to the actual topic. I am not seeing D&D2 cause it looks stupid.
