Rush Themes/Slogans

Hey all, this is my first post on this forum and I am hoping to get a little feedback on rush. I have about 7 months to plan for a fall rush and am looking all over the internet for some themes/slogans.

If anyone who reads this could just respond with a theme/slogan they know of or have successfully pulled off, please reply with it.

Do an "across the USA" theme...

Your first day can be "Wild West" or "Coyote Ugly" or something. Then your second day can be "California Girls" with your final day being "New York, New York."

Decorate for each day with appropriate items (bandanas and cowboy hats the first day, beach balls and flip-flops the second, "Big Apple"/Broadway stuff the third).

This is more of a question...are you planning formal recruitment through panhell or for your sorority only. We always do formal recruitment as a unit..all 3 sororites have formal recruitment together. They all do variations of the same them when i went through formal recruitment the theme was cartoons and each sorority did a different one. It was cool b/c each showcased their personality..but i don't know how it would work if you we doing fomal recruitment for only your glo.

And another question ... are you a guy or a girl? I notice everyone assumes you're in a sorority, and I don't think "California Girls" would be the best fraternity party idea ... unless you're inviting a lot of female friends over too!

This year, our theme was 'Come, Swim With The Dolphins!'

The dolphin being our local mascot.

Anyway, the first half was an underwater scene. We had blue film over the lights. We had tires, hanging fish, stuffed sea animals, a mermaid scene, etc.
The second half was beach scenes. We did different beaches like Cancun(we had a dolphin sitting at a table, sipping on a lil sumthin-sumthin'), Myrtle Beach(this was the drink table), Maui(inflatable palm trees, huge paper mache' volcano, etc, hula dancer), and some other beach.

We're doing a Sopranos theme....

This doesnt mean we'll be shooting rushes though. So if you were thinking about that, its on your own accord.
