Any historians out there?

I'm just wondering if any of ya'll can help me out here. I'm historian for my chapter, and supposedly there's a handbook (according to my CPO). However, when I go on the sigmakappa.org website, there is no such handbook for my position. Also, the former historian only gave me a tiny folder of "materials." So basically I don't have any guidelines except 'make a scrapbook' but (also according to my CPO), there is a lot more to my position than that...so I'm just wondering if anyone out there could give me any sort of information (handbooks, anything....)????

the historian at my chapter puts up new pictures in the lounge of our tower (some collages and we have a board w/ recent pics on it)...and makes a slide show at the end of the semester...

I am not sure if she has a handbook or anything...but i thought these ideas might help

Order a printed version from NHQ

There is a handbook, it just isn't available online yet. But you can get with your chapter president and order one off of the Supply Order Form. She should know what this is - if she doesn't your ABC or CPO can point you in the right direction. The handbook was printed in 1998 and costs $1.50 plus shipping.

They are working toward posting all the handbooks as they are revised. The older ones aren't all on there yet.

Good luck!
