Loss for UWO Chapter
I have just heard that last year's High Alpha was involved in a motor vehicle accident this past Friday (during the recent snow storm), and regretably died from his injuries. The Toronto chapter is making a donation and sending flowers; I think it would be a very classy act if other chapters made some sort of gesture.

In case anyone is wondering, UWO stands for the "University of Western Ontario".... sorry for not including that in the last e-mail.

My condolonces to the brothers. I know what it can be like to have to bury a fellow undergratuate brother. I had to do it not once, but twice as an undergraduate. Its an experience I wouldnt wish upon anyone.
Would love to send the our wishes, if you could provide contact info. Being from south texas, not like we know them. "oh yeah, we party with them, they're just up the street," and most contact info on lambdachi.org is horribly out of date.
Thanks

Post or send information...like Lifesaver, we might not know them personally, but, via the Ritual, we are one, and should share the loss, and pay respects.
How is the chapter handling the loss? You might contact the campus to see if they offer some sort of grief counseling...we had to do that at a chapter in Colorado a few years back.

Brother Cooper,
thank you for posting this for us as Brothers of LXA!
I feel like I lose a little of myself anytime I hear of the lose of a Young Greek, Especially when it is a Brother! While unknow to each of us, He is still a Brother to All of Us!
I think the 2 Brothers who posted above have an Idea, that if you can find a way to send a message, we would be grateful.

Rob,
Thanks for letting us know about this, but how can we send something if we don't know where to send it to? Everyone's pretty much in the dark here.
As president of our alumni association, I think I can contact our treasurer and send something in time. Please get in touch with me at jono41@optonline.net.
BTW, a brother at BH in Orlando, FL died in a car crash just a week ago.
My thoughts and prayers go out to both these brothers and their friends, families, and fellow brothers.
Stay safe.
In ZAX,
Jono

Gents: Here are the latest addresses for Western Ontario & Central Florida...
Lambda Chi Alpha-Western Ontario
116 Mill St.
London, ON N6A 1P6
Canada
Lambda Chi Alpha-Central Florida
136 Reserve Circle-#204
Orlando, FL 32826
Speaking on a personal level, I've lost brothers while in school and as an alum...it doesn't get any easier when you're older, believe me.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and fellow LCA's.
