Having been a television director at many levels for 35 years, I've had the chance to meet a lot of people and televise a lot of neat things.

I think the most memorable, though it may sound strange, was having the remarkable opportunity to direct the world pool feed of an outdoor Papal Mass from a Colorado State Park just outside Denver in 1994.

I'm not a Catholic, but it was a really moving experience. Beautiful pictures and sounds.
