NFL 2025–2026: The Road to February!

Ok… So… here we are once again. 🥂

Another season. New uniforms, new drama, same old delusions.

The Cowboys are already polishing their “This is our year” tweets, as if the 90s were like five minutes ago.

The Lions are stretching out their kneecaps and expectations, both of which will probably snap by Week 8.

And the Browns… well, they’re like still paying $230 million for court appearances.

Meanwhile, my Vikings have a new head coach. Ahem… Me. Clipboard’s in hand, plays are drawn, and yes…….. the dress is back.

Let’s go VIKINGS! Woohoo!

Don't be so modest, CG. Tell everyone how you're also the Vikings's new cheerleading coach!

CG is going to overhaul the whole operation, with only one assistant!

CG, you mention three of the four teams I chose last year to advance to the super dance (Lions, Browns, Vikings), plus The Team I Truly Dislike (Cowboys; see my signature below).

This year I'm still choosing my "same old delusions" (as you say) Vikings vs Bills for number LX. Alternate teams still Lions and Browns (it's gotta happen sometime!).;

One recent NFL amusement: New Yorker magazine featured a cartoon pretending Donald Trump signed an Executive Order renaming the "Buffalo Big Beautiful Bills" and changing their helmet logo to the D.C. Capitol building.

Cautiously optimistic about the season in New England, all the pundits seems to think it's been an amazing off season.

Wait… are you being serious right now? I mean, I was cheer captain in high school and college. You knew that. So….. me coaching the Vikings cheerleaders last season really shouldn’t have come as a shock to you, Sciencewoman.

Anyway, they started training me mid-season last year for the head coaching role, I just kept it quiet. Yep, the actual football team, and then, they just let me take the lead when we played your team, the Lions. We lost (barely), but even Dan Campbell was impressed. Like… ran across the field with a football and a Sharpie impressed. He wanted a selfie too. Wasn’t even my idea.

I mean, I would’ve enjoyed the moment more if he hadn’t been marinated in Axe. I SO got nauseous. I swear, I thought I was being gassed by a locker room. Ew!

I remember that. You were so close, Cheerio. I don’t remember you choosing the Browns though. Did you really choose them? Oh no, lol.

I could SO see Trump doing that. And then like making it really hard to change it back.

Umm… yeah. Axe Body Spray. The official scent of “I skipped the shower and have no shame.” One spritz is already a red flag…. Dan Campbell had like…. layers. I almost called Hazmat. Must be a Detroit thing?

LMAO! I didn’t know Dan Campbell admired you like that, CG. What’d you write on the football? Best wishes, signed “Vikings head coach”, CG? Notice how I put that in quotes LOL!

Another year of no hope for the giants, especially with that schedule. If they go .500 I’ll act like they won the Super Bowl.
