				OK, again.....Pikolinos Hamilton boots

In the banning of the spammers, my thread apparently got deleted, so I'll try again.
Before I go spending $270 on yet another pair of boots, I wanted to find out if anyone here has owned Pikolinos boots. I had never heard of the brand until a few days ago. I didn't see any reviews for the boots on the website. I'm tired of boots that leak, the leather separates or that just totally look like crap after a few wearings. These look really nice on the web page.
http://www.pikolinos.com/us-en/hamilton-w2e-9558.html
OK, thanks!!!!!!

I can't say I have, but those look nice! Much more high-end than my $25 brown boots I got at Ross Dress for Less :P

I got some very similar ones from Nordstrom Rack about a year ago for about $100 (got dark brown and black ones) and they're real leather. They look a lot like these. However, I have no experience with Pikolinos.

I've heard of this brand before, they're actually quite popular in Spain, and have been a round for a while. I haven't owned their shoes since in Spain they were quite pricey with the Euro. Although I did check out a few pairs of shoes and they do seem like they are quality products.
As far as purchasing, have you checked to see if they have them on Zappos, I haven't bought shoes from them in a while but hopefully they have free shipping and return shipping available. I have a horrendous time finding boots, so if they have free return shipping I figure no harm no foul.

 | They are on Zappos for the same price.

I bought some really cute boots from The Mint Julep Boutique last year. They were a brand I'd not heard of before. I wore them two weeks, and the leather began separating. Mint Julip would not take them back because I had worn them. I bought another pair from a department store (Dillard, Belk, maybe??) that began leaking after about a month. Again, they wouldn't take them back because I had worn them (a lot!). I'm just hesitant this year about buying another pair and having them turn to crap quickly!

I have never heard of Pikolinos. If you want seriously quality boots, Frye boots are really where it's at. You can get them on 6pm.com for some incredible deals (Fryes can easily run $400-500 but at 6pm there are sooooo many styles for half that).
