The process???

So I'm just trying to get this part of joining a fraternity/sorority straight-

First your a rushee when you "try out" for living in a fraternity/sorority during rush, then if you get choosen you pledge.

Then theres the pledgeing process where you live in the pledge house with the other rushees who were choosen then you all move into the real fraternity/sorority house when you become an official member of the fraternity/sorority-

Actually I have no idea what i'm talking about so if this is right tell me plus add more details of the process or if im off tell me in detail- I'm so confused!!!! LIL SIS- Jenny

Okay, so you kinda got it:

You check out organizations and they check you out, its mutual slection... aka called rush, recrutiment, open bids etc

Then if asked to join an organization you are given a bid, and then you begin your...

New member, MC, pledge, fraternity ed, etc - process - where you learn about the organization you are joining.


Then you are initiated, inducted, etc and you become a full brother or sister

***** Pledge Houses are NOT the norm, the only one Ive heard of is the one SAEPi had for the MTV show *****
