How will you spend mother's day?

This will be a very quiet mother's day for me. My husband is going down to VA to put flowers on his Mother's grave as she recently died. This will be the first mother's day that we are spending apart. But this will be the first time in a few years that my Mother and I will get to spend Mother's day together because my husband and I just moved back to the NY area. So ladies, cherish your mothers and mothers, cherish yourselves.

This is my very Mother's Day as a mom. I intend to see my mother and mother in law today-- and spend Mother's Day with my daughter and husband.

Ladies spoil your moms. Think of all those hand made cards and gifts that you have given her. Now if you can, treat her to the best there is.. she deserves it

Thumbs up

My sister and I are going to cook a rather fancy dinner for her, appetizer, dessert, champagne, the whole nine. After all, she's the only living parent we have.

Talking My MIMMY!!!

My dad thinks my mom is his Mother sometimes, 'cuz he made the dinner reservations... And we are eating at a very Posh restaurant... I know I cannot afford it, which means my dad or my brother are gonna be paying for it...

But, I got my Mimmy the nicest gift and I hope she likes it. She says she does not want really anything... But ladies, DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!! Even if it is the gift of your time, give that... And you can always make a "macaroni necklace" like you did back in preschool!!! Or pick a flower if you can't buy some...

My mom is soooo "crazy" sometimes, she said that she will be cooking Sunday Breakfast--a tradition in my house!!! I just say, "Okay Mimmy"!!! But she'll have a big suprise!!!

Take care Sorors, SF's and guests!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

My mother will more and likely be in church which is GOOD because it will give me time to create my BIG dinner while she is out. My mother is VERY picky with her food, so it is just easier to make what she likes. Give her her gift first thing.

Then the family gets together to either talk about old times or play dominos,............I just hope it's a nice sunny day.

At my friend's graduation in the Queen City. She's graduating from JCSU and I'm sooooo proud of her. Next year, I plan to take my mother to Hawaii, but it's a surprise.....

I live in MI and my mom lives in MS, so I'm just gonna get her a gift certificate to her favorite store.

For my MIL (mother in law) hubby and I chipped in w/his other sibs for a year long membership to Curves (the gym for women). To tell the truth, I should've asked for that too.

Hubby is taking me out to dinner and we will spend the night in a historic B&B.

Unhappy Apart for that day, but in my heart always

I'm calling my family on Mother's Day (I live in DC and they are in NYC). I also sent my Mommy a dozen of multi-colored roses. She loved them! As I just had surgery, I can't go anywhere, but they are in my spirits.
