Anyone Want To Create A Song For The Centennial?

On a much happier note from my previous thread... do any GC Alpha Gams want to come up with a song for Centennial??

For some reason I have Depeche Mode's 'Just Can't Get Enough' in my head and thought it'd be a cute song to do it too. I know on my campus its either Chi-O or Deephers (D-Phi-E) that has a song to the tune of it. Someone could come up with the first line and everyone else just post the next line in the song. If anyone wants to do any other songs, post 'em

Tonya, not to throw cold water on your idea...but the lyrics and music for the Centennial song is supposed to be completely original.

It would be great to come up with lyrics, but we need some aspiring musician sisters to come up with the tune!

Any ideas, anyone?

I would love love love to help with a GC submission. I'd be willing to help with lyrics. Does anyone here know how to score music? Or do you know anyone who can pen a tune? (We can have non-Alpha Gams help with that.)

I have an idea bout the song.

I have been playing with names, chorus parts.

Something like "If they only knew" If the founders only knew what they have done, It would be about how it has oevolved into this great sisterhood. If they only knew that it would last this long, be this strong. What it means to me , how it touched me so.......

What do ya'll think???? Music...in my head but I dont write music??

I like your idea! And I think I might have something to pair with it. Seeing what you came up with and listening to Soluna-For All Time, has given me a little something (of course not to the tune of it or anything). I'm gonna work on it and see what I get.
