interested in Western Mass chapters

Hi ladies!
I am very interested in joining Beta Sigma Phi. I've done a lot of research about your sorority, and I think it is exactly what I'm looking for. Due to my schedule (I am a graduate student and a teaching associate), I think the online chapters will suit me best. It is my impression that I must join a "land chapter" first, but I haven't heard of any in my area. Does anyone know of a chapter in Western Massachusetts? Am I right in assuming that I must first join a traditional chapter? I know that I can just e-mail the headquarters, but I thought maybe someone here could give me some feedback.
