Chapter Eternal
I hope this doesn't seem morbid, but I saw this on the Delt Webpage and it seemed to me that there should be a place to honor brothers and sisters who have passed on -- especially those who were notable in their service to their organization or society as a whole.
I thought that the alumni category might make the most sense since some of us may know, or at least have met, some of these people.
OBITUARY FROM THE COURIER-JOURNAL (Louisville, Kentucky)

Yeah Tom,
I remember a thread about all of the different names used. I used this one simply because it seems to convey it's meaning pretty clearly -- and, it's the one we use.

D A, no matter what the final light is, it should be held in a place of honor to the many Brothers and Sisters who have spent the time with us as Greek Members.
I started 2 years ago at Founders Day on giving the Invocation of reading the Brothers who were with us in Spirit,Gone from Life Eternal but with Us In The Heart! And thye will always be Brothers!

Reminds me of a couple verses from some Sigma Nu songs....
(Must have been written in the 30's or 40's)
Sigma Nu's they like to live,
But when it comes to die,
You'll never hear them groan or moan,
You'll never hear them sigh.
They'll walk right up to the pearly gates,
You'll bet your life they do!
For at the gate they meet St. Pete
And he's a Sigma Nu.
(another verse also along those lines)
And if by chance you wander from the straight and narrow path,
And if you flunk your morals as you used to flunk your math,
Well don't be discontented boys when you hear the funeral knell,
For we've an Alumni Chapter in the very Depths of Hell!
We also have a Chapter Eternal =)
Sigma Nu has no Omega chapters at all, nor will they ever.
