Search for Beta Sigma Alph

If you know of a Beta Sigma Alpha Fraternity anywhere (and at any time), let me know. I am interested in this because a lot of the early locals set up to join Alpha Phi Omega went by this name.

I have a 1929 Baird's Manual and this fraternity is not listed. Sorry!

As far as I know there was no National Beta Sigma Alpha. (though if there were I would definately be interested). Alpha Phi Omega is a National Community Service Fraternity founded on principles derived from the Boy Scout Oath and Law. In the beginning there was a great deal of organizational support from BSA nationally and previous scouting membership was required. As such many of the early locals set up that joined Alpha Phi Omega were Beta Sigma Alpha (BSA)

Randy,

Baird's also lists locals/regional groups. At least, the 1929 edition does so.

Yeah, sort of annoying that the 1991 version does not list locals. I'll check through the version of Baird's at the college library when I have the chance.
