Wow congratulations. Um...just put up flyers. Ask girls you know to join. Tell them you ARE doing it, not thinking of doing it. Good Luck!!

Thumbs up

Congratulations on what you are endevering to do!

It will be a rough but rewarding experience if it proves fruitful!

I did the same thing a ( FEW ) years back and was lucky enough to affiliate with LXA!

While there were some great Fraternitys on my campus, TKE< SX < PKA< STG< PSE, I fell I wanted to do something different!

I talked to people I knew, played pool with, guys I sat at a bar with, people I knew in classes, and some that were not happy after being booted out of Other Houses. They felt that what they were doing was building something new and that is why they joined!

I was a local less than a school year and we colonized with LXA! I have never looked back as met many Brothers on this site and actually learned more by starting my Local than I did in 7 1/2 years of school!

I am still very active in Not only My Chapter, but The International as Well!

The Best Of Luck To YOU! Keep us updated!

Is there a national organization to help with your recruitment? Usually national orgs send consultants to new chapters to assist them with recruitment and other 'just-getting-started' tasks.

Aside from flyers, use networking! Get guys you know (especially greeks) to recommend ladies that they think would be interested. That's one of the best ways for colonies first get their start.
