Greek Leadership
I just wanted to share with everyone my experience today. I, along with my Fraternity, went to a Greek leadership conference. It was held at UCSD and there was Greeks from all over San Diego, and a few from the LA area. It was really cool, and they had some great guest speakers. We also got to go to workshops that ranged from recruitment, to networking, to hazing and risk management, as well as eating disorders awareness. Have any of you gone to a leadership conference only for greeks?

When I was in college, I attended quite a few of these conferences. One for greeks from my school only and two for NPC groups. They were extremely informative and helped my chapter, my school, and me. Just remember to share what you learned with the rest of your chapter who didn't attend.

Last weekend was ADPi's district conference in California and I was soo excited that I was picked among a few other sisters to go. We had workshops and other activities. I enjoyed myself soo much, and getting to see all my fellow sisters was just awesome! So I can totally relate to how you felt Josh8o.

My fraternity just recently had a regional leadership school in Fresno, CA - from what I hear over two dozen chapters were represented. I didn't personally go, but I've been to other regional leadership schools. They're definatley a lot of fun, but a national leadership school is not to be missed. I've gotten to go twice - too much fun!!! This is one of the major reasons why we're all Greek though: the opportunity to meet all kinds of great people while learning how to be a better leader!

I went to an Area leadership conference, a national one, and am going to a leadership academy for chapter presidents in May, all run by Kappa Sig.

My school used to host a leadership conference every spring. It wasn't supposed to be only for greeks, but I'd say that 95% of the attendees were leaders in their GLOs. It was great!
I am going to the Gamma Phi Beta international convention this summer in Washington DC, as an advisor. I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't been to anything like this since I graduated from college, so I'm sure it will be a learning experience!

I haven't been to an all-Greek one yet, but I'm looking forward to the Delta Zeta convention this July in Ohio. I can't wait!

I haven't been to an all-greek workshop either but Sigma Nu puts on annual national conventions. I went to our College of Chapters last year in Lexington, VA and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Had lots of fun.
