What is the greatest feeling in the world?
I say either taking a leak or farting.
Discuss among yourself.

Simple...
Orgasm.
I'd also imagine watching your child be born is pretty unbelieveable, but seeing as I haven't experienced that one yet,
I'll stick with the above mentioned O.

Oh yeahs, Oragasm. BUt you know what, pissing after a long drive is pure ecstasy, esp. if you were stuck in traffic and your buddy kept on talking about how cold it was in the Titanic and how much water there are in Niagara Falls.

The big O for sure...
but taking a big dump feels pretty good too, not during, but right after.. I always let out a nice big "AHHHHHHhhhh"
Cracking the throttle on my old bike and having the front end come up and not touch back down until the top of second gear was a pretty sweeeeet feeling to.

Being a parent, I have to say there are a few things that fall under the topic....
Though I wasn't in a position to actually see the birth, that is the most amazing thing I have ever known. Right next to that is hearing the words "I love you" from your child.

I hear you deltaphi94. There are so many things. My son was about 3 months old at the time. He was feeding and all of a sudden he stops, turns his head towards me and smiles. I thought that he had gas at first but it was a REAL SMILE! My son actually smiled at me for the first time! I got chills.

I'll put in a vote for the Big O, as well as falling asleep and knowing you can sleep as late as you want to the next morning.
Also, I LOVE when it's about 11 at night, my house is clean, my husband, kids and dogs are all upstairs asleep and I am curled up on the couch in my fuzzy robe with a cup of tea and a good book. It just feels good to relax by myself for a bit knowing that the people I love most in the world are safe and everything is, for the moment, in order.

From a physical sense-when you have to sneeze ahh-ahh-CHOO
Oh that is such a relief--the other things mentioned as well are ranked up there with great physical pleasure. BUT-the GREATEST feeling in the world has to be that moment you first lay eyes on your child. I'm sure it doesn't matter if it comes from the birth canal or the arms of a trusted adult delivering the baby to your arms. Right Carnation?
deltaphi94 and aopirose I couldn't agree more.
Since the "firsts" are always different with every child each time one happens, it feels like the greatest moment!

As for all the orgasm votes...
I have to say right after the big O. When you're just lying there all warm and content.
Too bad they can't bottle that feeling. Screw Prozac, right?!

I have to give my vote for that instant JUST before the Big O, when you know it's coming and you are at the point of no return....to me that feels just unbelievable.
Also, that first moment you see your newborn baby....I believe my first words upon seeing my daughter for the first time (all 4 pounds 13 oz. of her) were "Oh, she's pretty!!!!!!!!!"
Your child saying "I love you"
Comforting your baby when he/she is sick and pitiful
First kisses
First morning pee
(Ok this is gross) Using Q-tips in your ears after you get out of the shower
Upper-body massages
Feeling your lover's skin against yours in bed the first night they return from a trip
I can think of soooooo many but I'll stop here for now
