Tyler Perry's "For Better or Worse" premieres November 25 at 9:00 on TBS. TBS really really really likes Tyler Perry (and his contract, I'm sure).
I like Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith so I will be trying this show if I remember to watch it. I am also eager to see White and Smith acting together without all of the "Why Did I Get Married" fussing.
What say you, GCers who are not afraid of shows with Black casts?

One of the many reasons I wish I had cable. But I will be wriggling my way into someone's TiVO to catch this premiere. I LOVE Tasha so I'm hoping I like her on the show.

...that is the only thing I could think of. They seemed like their WDIGM characters.

If I remember when it's airing, I'll check it out. I enjoyed both WDIGM movies so I think I'd be interested in this.

When I read the name of the thread, I thought it was about the Canadian comic strip.
How was the Golden Age of Black Television almost 40 years ago?  Hopefully some good shows will come through the pipeline soon.

Yeah, I had a rant about how shitty the comic is, what with the no-spine husband, control-freak matriarch, insanely hand-waved plot elements, and the reverse-gender-stereotype shut-in fantasy of every woman dominating every man. God I hate the comic.

I have watched about 3 episodes. I have given up on The Game and decided the reruns are better than the new season.

That makes me sad. I watched it periodically during the original run, but caught up on almost all of the episodes on Netflix. I was looking forward to getting into the new season, but I guess I will have to pass.
