Citibank -- Intimidated by her hotness?
Heard this on the radio this morning.
Debralee Lorenzana, a 33 year old Queens woman, is suing banking giant Citibank because, she claims, she was fired for being too sexy and distracting her male co-workers.
Really.
Lorenzana worked as a business banking officer for Citibank from September 2008 to August 2009, when she was fired. Lorenza's lawsuit says that she was fired basically for two reasons. One was that she was not opening enough new accounts. The other was that despite dressing appropriately by any reasonable business standard, she was told by at least two managers that she needed to stop wearing heels and tailored clothing that accentuated her curves and other bodily assets.
Lorenzana's lawsuit even goes so far as to say that other women in the office were allowed to dress the way she was not allowed to dress because the other women were not blessed (cursed?) with height, curves, and general womanliness.

What say you, GC?

LOL right. I didn't think she was that hot, when i read this in the NYPost.
Here's one:
Others here. Some are way extra, but others, really? That's par for the course when youre ballin in NYC. Theyre totally intimidated by her hotness. Her body is pretty awesome though, i won't hate.
She should go on over to Morgan Stanley or Goldman. They'll appreciate her assets there.

I only saw the one picture in the original article, but from what I heard on the radio, the complaints were more about her body (wearing form fitting clothing, TOO high heels, etc).
Of course, I see no problem with this. The more Bensons, the better...

Exactly. Are all of those things she wore to work or were a few of them personal outfits? Because the business-looking ones were fine, except the turtleneck, which is the "blessed" woman's enemy. They make people wanna throw us in the ocean to see if we can float.

^^@PJeni -Sometimes you have to upsize on a shoe because the stiletto-ness. I can't even get into pumps that tall without going up a full size to accommodate.
Anyways, she stays steady fierce. I thought she was going to turn around and have a case of pancake a** like Ke$ha, but she's got that covered too.
It is possible that her co-workers did not appreciate her wardrobe, but most of it seems appropriate, although I certainly would go up a size for work appropriateness. If she was wearing the dress she claims she was wearing to her interview, they knew what was up from day one. It's all about whether she can prove what she claims though.
She can send me some of those shoes. Watch me walk it out! I'm throwin' on my Louboutins!

Her stilettos would be against our dress code. 2.5" is the maximum heel height allowed in my work environment. Oh, and we are required to wear hose. And no open toes.
However.. who has all these model type photos of themselves at work? Who has any photos of themselves at work?

I think those pictures might have been taken after the fact by the newspaper. They definitely look professional.
