Clash of the Titans 2010

I think it starts Friday. Anyone besides me really excited about seeing this one?

I think it looks like a lame attempt to capitalize on the 3D craze. Won't be seeing.

I agree.

Cheerfulgreek, there are some movies that should NEVER be remade because the originals are CLASSIC. Younger generations should be introduced to the originals instead of everything being updated. Clash of the Titans is one of those movies. There are others, but I won't get started.

But I saw the original one, too. The special effects were really good for the time, but the special effects in the new one are gonna be so much better. I can't wait to see Medusa.

eta: hopefully, I won't turn to stone.

I saw the previews and was very underwhelmed. The original Medusa scared the mess out of me and turned me into stone.

I like the special effects of the original movies. They better not EVER remake the Ten Commandments. I don't need to see a 3D parting of the water.

lol @ Medusa turning you into stone. I don't know why they said Medusa was so ugly, I've seen people in real life who are much more hideous looking than Medusa without the snakes. lol

Oh, I loved the Ten Commandments. I think that would be SO awesome to do that in 3D.

Don't get me wrong, I like 3D but I don't need it for anything. Plus theaters are raising prices on 3D movies now...we found that out last Friday.

I saw it and thoroughly enjoyed it, but me being a college man I guess I'm easy to please as long as there is lots of actions and special effects...but I enjoyed the storyline as well. I saw the first one a long time ago and don't really remember it.

My only complaint is that I paid 3 extra dollars to see it in 3D when I don't think I really needed to.....didn't really add much if you ask me.

I saw it and it was okay. I was disappointed with it. I like the original one better. The only thing the new one had better than the original one was the graphics.

I suggest watching the original one first before seeing the remake.

I saw the really late showing of it, so they only had the regular one showing. No 3D. But that gives me an excuse to see it again, but in 3D.

Yep. I agree. I wasn't disappointed with the new one, but I do like the original one much better. Plus, for the time period, I think the special effects in the original one were really good.

hope its good, but not sure

I am seeing it this weekend, but to me its another case of hollywood running out of ideas if they are re-doing old classics which i doubt this will beat, but people may just think it is better then it is because of the 3D

I saw it.
As a remake of the original, it was terrible.
As a stand-alone movie, it was mediocre.

It was all build-up and no climax.
