Classic Radio - 20 Years Down The Road
Will they be playing Green Day? If they play Creed or Nickleback, I'm going to grab a shotgun and go postal on that radio station.

I heard someone in the elevator yesterday talking about something being so old school...then she said, that was like 10 years ago. I guess I'm old?

I love when one local radio station plays their Old School at Noon. They start every song off with the introduction, "Back in the day, 1997." I'm like, I used to shake my ass to this in the club! Oh boy, I feel old.

Given the fact that Green Day has been played by high school marching bands for 10 years now, listen for Green Day in your local elevator...any minute now.

I know! While I will listen to power 105.1 over most pop/top 40 stations, I will say hot 97 has a better/more accurate "old school at noon" playlist.
I do fear the day when the "oldies" station will rotate Britney Spears, Soulja Boy and the like. Ugh.

The "Old School" hour on a local radio station now plays songs circa 1997/1998/1999. I was in like junior high. I don't think half of this stuff qualifies as old school yet (i.e. TLC's "No Scrubs.")

I personally hope it's lots of emo and Nirvana. Then, when our kids listen to those stations, they'll imagine a world where people were walking down the street, sobbing uncontrollably for no reason at all.
