Need Help

Hi, I'm a founding father of a newly founded fraternity in Missouri. This coming fall will be our first homecoming and we do not know how to serenade at all. I don't even know where to start.

What do I do to serenade specifically?

Please help!

I'd ask some of your friends in other chapters on your campus for suggestions. GC can probably provide you with some wide and varying ideas of what is done across the country but not what is the "norm" specific to your campus.

Definitely search youtube because you'll find a variety of ideas for both traditional and non traditional serenades. If you can, put the sororities names somewhere in the song - it will make you very popular.

This is very easy actually.

I recommend Tom Jones' 'Hooked on a Feeling'

-- half of your guys take the chorus, half take the 'oogachucka' thing. Play the song on a portable stereo, or if you're outside, on someone's car stereo if it has decent highs (too much bass will just overshadow things). Things will be fine.
