First Collegiate SRB chapter?

SRB as founded in 1975,

1) at what point did SRB have its first chapter that would pledge college students?

2) at what point did SRB have chapters whose primary membership was college students?

3) at what point did SRB have a chapter at a school with an Alpha Phi Omega chapter?

* SRB had it's first collegiate chapter in Alpha (Far Eastern University) way back 1980s.

* SRB had it's first collegiate chapter in Alpha (Far Eastern University) way back 1980s.

3) at what point did SRB have a chapter at a school with an Alpha Phi Omega chapter?

* Almost all of the schools have collegiate chapter with an APO

Biography:

I am Gabriel, loyal member of the Alpha Phi Omega International (Phil's ) Collegiate Service Fraternity & Sorority and of the United Methodist Church. --->>> I thought that one of the basic belief of UMC is Inclusivity. The UMC includes and welcomes people of all races, cultures, and ages. Why are you questioning the credibility of the community chapters of SRB and telling us that we're from slum areas. Is that what your apo fraternity is teaching you? I thought that we have the same principles in which we derived from scouting. Get lost Loser!
Location: Sta. Maria Bulacan, Philippines - Now we know why you're belittling SRB and telling the people here that we're from slum areas. Look who's talking... apromdi - apo from the province
Interests: To read my Bible, and to be with other people - O C'MON, YOU'RE BELITTLING SRB AND THAT'S WHAT YOUR RELIGIONS' TEACHING YOU OR YOUR APO FRAT?
Occupation: Student ------------->> YOU'RE A NEWBIE, SO DON'T ACT LIKE YOU KNOW SRB. TSK TSK TSK

Sirs,

Basically, Scouts Royale Brotherhood was founded by members of Alpha Phi Omega - Alpha Delta chapter in the Philippines on September 22, 1975. Alpha Phi Omega and Scouts Royale Brotherhood, different entity but have the same principles. Both organization derived their teachings from Scouting principles.

More power to SRB and all Greek Fraternities whose purpose is to serve.

That's interesting for several reasons.

SRB's creation

SRB wasn't created for reasons like Alpha Delta (or Theta Beta Phi @ Maryland Eastern Shore or Phi Rho Eta in Illinois) as an offshoot of those who disagreed with Alpha Phi Omega policy in some way.

SRB was basically founded by a chapter of Alpha Phi Omega as a somewhat of a High School form of Alpha Phi Omega. While there wasn't an official relationship, there was a de facto tie. In fact the original advisor to SRB (Brother Lazo) was National President for Alpha Phi Omega for one term in the 1980s. If you take a look at their key (on the website at http://srb-lfs.org), you can see the obvious relationship.

Within the last ten (?)years however, SRB has started forming College chapters, more or less going head on into Alpha Phi Omega's niche. With Alpha Phi Omega of the Philippines having better relations with BSP than Alpha Phi Omega of the USA has with BSA (As best as I can tell *none* of the "3 G's" represent significant policy differences between APO-Phil & BSP), relations have gotten interesting. See http://alphaphiomega.org/pipermail/a...ch/000143.html for two recent resolutions passed by the APO-Phil board concerning Scouts Royale Brotherhood.

Given that greekchat has primarily been for North American Fraternities, (I've found [deleted] as a good place for Philippines Fraternities and Sororities) I wonder if the represents an effort by SRB to start founding chapters in North America. If this occurs, I would expect, at best, somewhat negative reactions from both APO-USA and BSA.

Remember... You are created to be a member of Alpha Phi Omega when you go to college, and not to be an SRB forever. Many SRB today refuse to evolve, like an immature High School students.

When did you join apo? Do you have any proof or evidence that SRB was created to be a member of your apo frat in the college level?
