I could not log on. I had to really search. I normally go to my favorites and I could not get the site up. Maybe others are having the same problem

Personally, I was just kind of disgusted...

I didn't feel like posting because a lot of the topics I came back looking for were gone/altered. I was mad at John H. for not having some semblance of redundancy going... Maybe he did and I just don't know what I am talking about. I mean dang, what are RAID controllers for??? Why wasn't he running 72 hour backups instead of weekly backups? lol
It matters very little nonetheless, I was still irritated.

I understand that he doesn't HAVE to run this site, and I am thankful for the the time he spends supporting something so many of us are addicted to... It must be very time consuming to run/maintain a site that is soooooo busy.

I am just an addict who crashed after not getting my fix for a few days. I just needed to get over my gripe.

This happens a lot. If a really popular site goes down for a week or more a lot of the people who come to the site find other things to do online and forget about the old site.

I've been having the same problem...with all this madness going on the few times I feel like posting I can't even log on...I've been MIA for months...ironically when I am ready to return all this happens...

I couldn't log on until yesterday. I'm glad GC is back up. Too bad about some of the posts. But hey, what are you gonna do? I haven't really gotten back into the swing of things. I feel...discombobulated.

I used to post at work. BUT can you imagine? They actually want us to work during work hours....lol......we all received a nice little email requesting that everyone limit their internet usage. So have i have try to post (and read) after I fix dinner...put the little one to bed....clean the kitchen....OK enough about my exciting life....

I've been gone too. I got a new job w/ the worst hours in the world. On top of that, I can't use the internet at work

So I have to wait until i get home. But usually when I get home, i have so many other things to do, that I don't have time to check in. I'm gonna try and get back into the swing of things. I miss all you guys
