I get stupider every time I read the Huffington Post. Hint to every journalist everywhere: even the Onion isn't doing the Onion's shtick that well anymore. You will probably fail, too.

While the story is a bit tongue in cheek, I have seen a story or two about how over the past several Presidencies sentence structures have been dumbed down and shortened.
