Survivor: Tocantins
I'm an early fan of Sierra's. Sure she had strep and got the early vote-off, which of course wasn't a real vote-off. But she built the whole shelter herself while sick and just seems like she's going to be fun.
Definitely a fan.
Interesting to see that there appears to be no exile island. Kind of had gotten used to that.

I knew that the first vote wouldn't kick them off. It just seemed too ridiculous. When I originally heard "a vote on first impressions," I thought they would be at camp for a couple days and then both tribes would have to kick out one of their members. But to travel all that way and to get rid of someone before they did anything seemed crazy. There's always a catch on Survivor!
I'm not surprised by who they voted out. I would have done the same thing. Carolina was holding them up in that immunity challenge and those are the things you have to win. And I can see why people thought she was annoying, but saying that you have to build shelter didn't seem to be a crazy concept to me. Why was everyone getting on her case about it?
And yes, props to Sierra for building shelter. Wasn't it Coach who said that she's still going to be the first to go? That's ridiculous.
And Sandy... if you're going to claim that because you're older, you're wiser, please learn was '10 paces' means before you go on Survivor. Thanks.

THANK YOU (@ bolded)!!!
I don't think she knows what a palm tree is, either. Bless her heart - she's giving Louisville a bad name. Part of me thinks she's gotten a crappy edit; I guess we'll see.
As soon as she decided to look for the idol instead of building the shelter, I figured her tribe would boot her as soon as they got the chance. I was a little surprised when they voted out Carolina.
Oh, and I didn't realize there wouldn't be an exile island. Have they previously sent someone there this early in the game? (Meaning, they could still have it, it just hasn't come into play yet.)

Always the interesting twist
So far, I don't hate anybody yet, but not knowing what a pace was, nor a palm tree, was pretty dumb. I like her though and am surprised she didn't get the boot!

Debra (Debbie) is an Alpha Gam from EIU from the mid 80's.
She looks smokin' hot for 46.

I had been told by a big squirrel that we had a sister on this season's show, but she could not remember her name at the time we were talking. I did a search at member services and couldn't find her... thanks for letting us know!

SO glad Sierra stayed another week. And while that chick that was voted off today may have been annoying, I would have kept her around. She seemed to pull her weight at the challenge.

I'm not liking Coach much - I would've been happy to see him go last night instead of Candace.
I love the Exile twist! I think Taj and Brennan (? is that who went with her?) have a great strategy to try to get themselves sent there again. Did Taj tell her tribe that Brennan picked the bottle with the clue, and she has no idea whether he found the idol or not? I'm only asking because I remember dude telling his tribe that Taj picked the bottle with the clue and he let her wander off alone to search for it. I just wondered if they were both leading their respective tribes to believe something that isn't true, or if only Brennan was.
I like these two people, and I would like to see their strategy of the half-blind 4-way alliance work.

I didn't really like Candace, but I agree, they should have kept her.
I thought the whole Exile Island thing was interesting... and I love how Brendan lied and said that only Taj got the clue to the location of the HII. And wasn't he the one that Sierra enlisted to help her find the other one? If so, he definitely has a leg up in that respect.
I almost see Coach as being another Ace. He's definitely starting to annoy me.

Now that they went to Tribal Council, Sierra's HII, if she should find it, it worthless. The clue said it was only good the first time they went to TC.

I wondered if it isn't the same HII that the other women were told about. The clue said it was in their native tribal land or something like that.

Sad to see Jerry go last night. I have a soft spot for military folks.
I didn't get to see the previews for next week - did they show anything regarding Taj and the HII at her camp? We know Brenden found his, it'd be interesting to know if Taj found hers.

I was sad to see Jerry go, also. Especially with Erinn smiling the entire time. She is really starting to piss me off.
I'm glad Brendan found the HII. I'm anxious to see how this is all going to turn out with their secret alliance. I wonder if the other two people will go for it... and if they'll all be around long enough to see the merge.

I am hating Coach now. He's extremely annoying. And he thinks he should be the leader, because apparently he looks stronger than Brendan? Get over yourself! It's Survivor. Who cares?
I'm anxious to see what happens with the secret alliance next week. I'm hoping it doesn't fall apart.
I wasn't too surprised to see Sandy go. I wasn't too upset about it, either. I do, however, think that she was doing well in the challenges, but that probably couldn't make up for how annoying she was back at camp.
And Tyson is officially my favorite. His commentary is hilarious.
Oh, and can someone get Sierra some underwear, please?!
