Post Little Sister Orgs...............

I just want to know people's feelings on these. Are there any at your chapter? What is their (major) purpose? Fill me in. I'm just curious, we don't have any of these on my campus.

We do have them on our campus but they should never be referred to as a little sister organization. Some of them get highly upset about when we call them lil sisters, or people call them Alpha Angels. When I first crossed that was one of the first questions I asked what is their purpose. Well I learned on line that when they first came into existence in the early years of the fraternity, they were the wives and girlfriends(sweethearts) of the Bruhs. They usually helped out with community service and social functions. THey later became recognized as the Alpha Wives Club. But over time and with movies like "School Daze" people think they are all about being flunkier or hoes up under Bruhs. When I first saw the Angels at my school before I was greek I had a bad impression of them because I always say them hanging all over the Bruhs and sitting on their laps and stuff but now that I have actually gotten to know some of them, they are really cool and would be willing to help us out in anyway. Sometimes we can really depend on them, especially when they Sorors fall through on us!(Sorry but it happens)!
