Beta Theta Pi at Nebraska Turns 115 today!

Today, September 14th is the 115th anniversary of the founding of the Nebraska Chapter, the Alpha Tau of Beta Theta Pi.

Yesterday we held an Alumni Golf Tournament and an open house for our Alumni to commemerate the event in conjunction with the Nebraska-Penn State football game.

Also of note, some of us found the what may be the very first roll book of the chapter. If it's not then it is a reproduction of all the data that was contained for the first 200 some members of our chapters. It was very old, and it was really thrilling to think that this book might be 115 years old.

Congrats!
One of my favorite law professors, who I also worked for this summer, is a Beta from Nebraska! His name is Larry Frolik, and I know that he served as an officer while a collegiate.

Happy Anniversary! That is quite a milestone. I think it is so cool that you found that book. I wish my chapter had more artifacts from it's early days back in the 20s. However, I did find in a used bookstore in Indy a 1926 Ball State yearbook that was signed by our founding president. I got chills!

Congratulations to Nebraska's BQP on 115 years! Hope all of the Miami Triad (plus, of course, their sister!) continues to prosper

Hey Rulz,

This is so tacky, I'll appologize before I write any more -- but I just can't help myself.

Did our Delt housemom there bake you guys a cake?

Damn, I'm sorry -- please know that I really mean what I said in the first post.

Just a little friendly jab among brother Greeks.
