Fun! Are you going to reveal which chapters are at your school?

Oooh, I'll be very interested to hear your story since my school has only one of the 7 chapters at yours (Chi Omega).
Are you going to tell us when (what year) you went through recruitment?

I can think of only ONE place where we share a campus with the above mentioned.

With that exact list of groups -- only one campus could it be.

Yeah...another rush thread with a Sigma chapter!
I had decided that when I read your code names that I was going to root for M&M's since that's one of nicknames my parents called me, but they're the skinny blond house, and I have curly black hair! Hmmm...I think I still root for them but also Kit Kat since I just ate one out of the vending machine!

Am I the only one that thinks it's a little weird/creepy for rush conversations to be stationed in bedrooms? I've read that in a lot of threads, and I think I would've felt weird being led into a bedroom with a rusher, where we sit on the bed and make small talk for a few minutes.

It definitely sounds a little ooky to me...but then again, at Duke sororities don't have houses (they don't even live together in dorm sections like most of the fraternities) so I have no frame of reference!

It's pretty commonplace where I go to school. During pref, sometimes girls would take PNMs to the bedrooms because there isn't alot of room in the common areas of the house for every sister to pref their PNM. It's hard to tell a girl how much you want her to join XYZ over the voices of 50 other people in the parlor.
It wasn't creepy to us I guess because all of the other houses did the same. The doors of the rooms were left open also (closing them is a rush infraction & would actually be a little creepy).

I've thought it was interesting, but I could see doing it if there was a lack of space. We had enough common areas - large dining room, formal living room, TV room, study room, library (really a sitting room). The only time where you'd be having a conversation with a PNM in a bedroom would be on house tours if you were pausing to chat about something, let another group pass ahead, or point something out in the room.
