Gamma Phi Beta House at University of Connecticut

I took the boys (ages 14 and 16) to UConn today to visit the university's horses, cows and sheep. We also visited the co-op and student center. On the way out, I drove through Husky Village, which is university-owned housing for GLOs. This fall, Gamma Phi Beta will move into the house that Kappa Kappa Gamma just vacated. They were re-painting the interior, but let me walk around the house and explore (I guess it helped that I was wearing letters). I thought I would post some pictures, but I need a URL for each image. Maybe someone could help me out with this???

Post them to FB, and then cut and paste here.

I just went in a brand new Gamma Phi Beta chapter house today. Move in is in 2 weeks!

Okay, here goes:

The front of the new Gamma Phi Beta house at the University of Connecticut. You can tell where the Kappa Kappa Gamma letters were (no word on when the Gamma Phi Beta letters will go up).

Another view of the new Gamma Phi Beta house at UConn.

The entrances to the new Gamma Phi Beta House. The doors on the right go into the house's common room, while the other two doors (on the left) go into the residential portion and kitchen. I love the pink doors! Each house (and the houses are duplexes -- Gamma Phi Beta shares their house with Kappa Sigma) has different colored doors that are painted with the sorority's colors (Pi Phi is wine, Delta Gamma is baby blue, etc).

The house only has double rooms. There are two room on the first floor, six on the second and five on the third.

The view from the second floor landing.

The view from the third floor landing.

The kitchen -- now with a fresh coat of paint. There is also a laundry room and a bathroom on the first floor, while the second and third floors have double bathrooms (two sinks, two toilets and two showers).

A composite of the Founding Sisters is waiting to be hung on the wall.
