wow 6 chapters in only 3 yrs, very good job Ladies! are you keeping the chapters close in regional proximity? I think that's the best way to go about forming a strong org before you go branching out to the national level, but that's just me

Since Artimis already covered our beloved Sisterhood.....
...I'll point out another few that I've learned of since joing on to greekchat - Sigma Alpha, Zeta Sigma Chi, Theta Nu Xi. I know members of each of these organizations post to greekchat, so you should have plenty of info to start on, brooklineu.

As I post these numbers, I wonder which group you'd put Sigma Alpha Sorority in now! We currently have more than 40 active (collegiate) and nearly 20 alumnae chapters. When I joined in 1990, there were about 10 chapters total. Most of our chapters are at the landgrant universities, though certainly not all. We're classified as a professional sorority, with agriculture and related industries as the focus.

I didn't know that Theta Nu Xi had a chapter at the UA. I was Panhellenic, I thought that I might know something like that......

No prob, M_V...when I first started posting, there was another Theta Nu Xi sister who posted all the time, which is how I learned of your sisterhood.
Beth, I stand corrected - y'all aren't "Up & Coming," y'all are more like "Established & Here to Stay!"

Absolutely, Equeen! What a difference a decade can make! :-)
We charter a chapter tomorrow at Mizzou - that's on Jan. 26, which is also our national founders' day - so I am really excited about the dates coinciding!
