Alumnae Relations

My chapter has not had any type of programming for the alumnae since I was the alumnae relations coordinator as an undergrad and that was about 3 years ago. All events that have happened in the last 3 yrs have been organized by alumnae. I feel as though my chapter is lagging in this area. They don't even email alumnae with the latest news. Usually we get one email from the chapter when they have elections and that's it. It's frustrating because I know that in the long run this hurts the chapter because there missing out on monetary donations. How do I get the chapter to realize what they are missing? I know that brunches aren't always fun, but they don't have a website, they stopped making a newsletter and they don't email. I feel connected to my organization, but so disconnected from my chapter. I've offered my services and I know that there are plenty of alum that would help them out...I'm not sure what else to do. Anyone else had this issue?

Angry

Yes I and many others have the same problem.

Good luck.

There is a song, if I had a Hammer!
Dont you wish you could use it?

Actives only need Alums when they get into trouble most of the time.

Lip service is a penny a pound.

Alums can do only what they can do at the moment and that is all!

God knows, that we try and do what we can do.
