I hope you don't mind an outsider offering some suggestions.

One thing you can do is make sure you get all of your reports done every semester...on time. If you have a magazine and they ask for submissions, send them in every quarter by the deadline (or however often your magazine comes out). Also, when your HQ asks for email addresses, send in the ones you check, versus your school ones because that's what you think they'd prefer. Trust me when I say they would rather have the email addresses you check. Oh, and the big one, if someone who is a volunteer for the organization sends you an email, please respond to them.

I hope these ideas help! Good luck.

Is there a better way in contacting nationals other than calling them? Is there a person that is best to talk to? I'm part of the Delta Theta chapter and this was our first semester back on campus and apparently, our alumni president never sent in our initiation money or due money to nationals. So in other words, nationals don't even know we exist. We were initiated by our alumni and technically, we're not even actives in the eyes of nationals

Ummmmm...

who did you make the checks out to? STG national or one of your alumni?

This is wicked sketchy.

You need to get in touch with your Alumni President a.s.a.p. and find out what's going on. Also, you need to call Nationals about your situation. They might cut you some slack.
