I realize that we all have such widely varying tastes in music, and I have found many great lesser-known bands through iTunes and recommendations from audiophiles.
My taste-I would probably be termed a brit-pop fanatic. This is not because I'm english, it's just the type of music I love.

So here's how this works...if you like *Britney Spears* you'll like *Christina Aguilera*. That was an example, I'm not serious.

Anyway:

If you like Coldplay, you'll like: Editors, Embrace, Augustana, Snow Patrol, Keane, Vega4, Black Lab.

Yes, it's the Beverly Mitchell from 7th Heaven. That girl can sing! I like her because her songs are "exposed" - you can actually hear HER VOICE instead of a bunch of synthesizers and backup singers.

Oh wow - I wouldn't really throw Editors in that group, they're much closer to Interpol etc in my opinion.

I like Interpol a lot but I've found a lot of Coldplay fans totally dig Editors as well. Time to hit up BTJunkie. I've been meaning to get the new Kaiser Chiefs as well.
