I'm not really bothered by it. If you think about it Tri-Delta has parts on SNL (or used to) and though it was not in the best of taste, it helped make their letters well-known/famous and commercialized to an extent. I surely don't think it hurt them in the long run. ZTA's letters are on commercials/print adds for the Susan B. Komen walks. To me, so long as it isn't in the news ('cause the news is ALWAYS negative), it doesn't seem like an issue. Especially in the case where the letters aren't ours, though similar. God knows some PNM isn't going to know the difference between a Delta and a Lambda and may recognize the letters as AZD.....we could use a little PR on a national scale too.
Ok .. this is totally off the wall and thinking out of the box ... could we write up a recruitment skit (for those who still have skits) that uses this
comercial ...
like: "join Alpha Xi and have eveyone on the same network" ... the PNM searching for the right connections ....

Speaking of commercials, I just keep noticing something with all of the Budweiser commercials. They use a similar five-point crown to that of Zeta Tau Alpha, and with the newest commercials, everything revolves around the crown. I wonder if anyone else has noticed.
I saw this commercial for the first time the night before last...I thought it was an A X D, too, until I realized it was a L X L. Than I was like, "Oh, THAT'S what she's talking about!"
