i have a gnome in my front yard. every so often we find him in our neighbor's yards. i always run over and rescue him!

My friends used to call them "ga-nom-ees" and I can't even say gnomes correctly anymore.

different things actually - sometimes we'd paint them all funny like (goth, jerry garcia, etc) and decorate our rooms with them and other times we'd decorate other people's yards with them. we used to put them outside of a porta-potty in our town, but the cleaning people kept removing them.
