there is a very odd quill on ebay ...

It doesn't look quite right to me ... the end of the shaft is wrong and the barbs on the feather look wrong... is it just because its old? the other old ones I've gotten from ebay don't look this different....
anyone have any ideas??

Oooh, it does look different...pretty too! I wonder how old it is? I really like the opals on it... since there's nothing on the national website about the history of the quill, I did a search and found this page, which gives an interesting history of the quill. It mentions early quills being made with opals like the one on ebay.

if anyone is interested this quill went for $279.99  It looks like some of the collectors got into the act.

Looks like someone doesn't really understand GLO's. They have a Delta Upsilon Badge, and AE chapter guard (or at least that's what it looks like) and a an AXiD Order of the Rose Pin being sold all together. They should really do some research before listing all of that stuff together.
