It's the blazer. It is way too "old" for someone college age to wear.
Unflattering cut & the stripes are jail-like. Reminds me of something my tacky old high school principal would have worn. There are good ways to wear blazers at age 18...that is not it.
That whole outfit could be changed up with a bright, cute top instead of that blazer.

I'll have to do this in installments, I got really burnt out after one outfit lol.
I'd wear the (brown) hair long, down and curly. White button-up blouse with pink cami peaking out the top, lots of warm pinks and bronzes in the eyes and cheeks. A soft pink polish and nice dark skinny jeans, sitting over pink ballet flats. Might consider wedges, but if it's a good first impression I'm going for, I'd rather not scare anyone by adding heels to my five feet ten inches just yet  Maybe on pref night. Okay absolutely on pref night!
