Yeah the black and white cakes LOOK great, but the risk of having black teeth is far too great to risk it. lol.

My sister started using cherry Kool-Aid to help make icing deeper red. Tastes much better.

If I hadn't had a spring/summer wedding, my dress would have been white with a red bouquet, and my bridesmaids dresses would have been red with white bouquets. I don't see the big deal with red as a wedding color. :-)

Add me to the list of people who don't like red as a wedding color, but it has never been one of my fave colors to begin with. I jump for joy everytime I'm in a wedding and the main color is not red.

I'm on that list too. I went to a wedding a few weekends ago where the colors were red and white. I thought it was a bit garish, especially for a spring wedding.

I LOVE a black and white evening wedding, they look gorgeous especially if you have money to throw into the glitz and glam needed to pull it off like lighting and crystals. I wouldn't do one because black also happens to be one of those no-no colors for me. I am surely my mother's child. We do our best to avoid even wearing it to a wedding although it sometimes can't be helped.

Looks like I'm not the only one who likes off the shoulder with some sleeve look! Although, that much
too much train for my liking.

Yes, the Groom isn't exactly a pinup boy.
