I know of two sets of twins at UM. One set joined the same sorority and ther other set (my year) both went separate ways...one went Theta the other KKG. Hey they were fraternal.

I went through rush with a set of fraternal twins. One pledged Phi Mu while her sister went with us at Alpha Gam.

I think guys tend to be more independent about this than girls, at least at my school. My hubby is a twin and he and his brother went their own ways. Brent went Delt, which had been his dad's chapter, and his brother went Sigma Chi. Relations between Delt and Sigma Chi were really close when we were in school, they called themselves the East Main Alliance. The girls were a different story. It always seemed that when twins were coming through rush they made it well known that they were a two-for-one deal.....they were only going together, and that was that. What was more annoying was that they always seemed to have their pick just because of the novelty of the twin thing. We never took any of the ones that went through when I was there because they always had such attitudes.

Back when I was in school, we had a set of twins in KD and another in ADPi. Both were sets of fraternal twins-- the ADPi twins didn't look very much alike, but the KD's were almost impossible to distinguish. One of them became my best friend's BigSis-- over time I was able to tell them apart!

We had a set of twins (in-house legacies to boot) go through a few years ago. One joined her legacy chapter, the other joined a different chapter on campus. Both were very happy with their respective choice.

Ooh! I just remembered another set! These two were identical. One went KD and the other joined Alpha Xi. It was very confusing on Wednesdays (all Greeks wear letters on Wednesdays at UCF) if you were a new member and didn't know the girls yet.

I've seen all sorts of variations so far.

I know of one set of twins at Kansas State (and been told of another pair at Nebraska...long story in how I foudn that ou) that went to different houses.

My date to formal, she and her twin went to the same house. While I know of some twins from HS where one went through rush, and the other didn't. There was also a pair where one waited until sophomore year while the the other had done it as a freshman. I think they ended up the same house since the one who hadn't gone through still hung out a lot with the girls of her sisters chapter.
I also know of some twins who went to different schools one on the west coast and the other on the east coast and they went through rush without talking to each other and ended up pledging the same sorority! It was a complete coincidence apparently

there is a set of male twins on campus, one is a brother of sigma phi omicron, the other rushed, got a bid, and dropped the semester after his twin pledged in..

in my sorority we have a twin! her twin doesn't isn't a sister of any sorority, however.. but they still are IDENTICAL. its funny watching all the fraternity guys go up to her and talk to her to just realize its not kerri, but katie

We have two sets of identical twins in our chapter right now. I can tell one set apart...but I'm still working on the other! At our school I have seen quite a few sets of identical twin girls, and they are ALWAYS in the same chapter together. And the one set of identical guys is in the same fraternity.

I have a twin sister and we both joined Pi Phi on our campus. I can't imagine what it would have been like if we joined different houses. My real little sister rushed last year on our campus and also joined Pi Phi. It was so much fun for all of us to be in the same house together! (Real exciting for my parents...paying for three sets of dues!)

One of our girls is a twin and her sister attends Denison University. Julie joined Tri Delt there and Lexi joined DG here. I think it is funny when Lexi drives Julie's car because there is a Tri-Delt sticker on it but no DG sticker because there are DGs at Denison and no Tri-Delts at Akron. Its funny when Julie comes to visit cause the only difference between them is the length of their hair!

We have a set of identical twins in our chapter, but they both recently graduated and went alum. It was easier for us though, because they rushed during different semesters.
