Word on the street is (*possible* spoiler alert): There will be 8 remaining episodes of The Hills this season. As for next season, Teen Vogue does not want to be apart of it so Lauren is going to "quit" and that will take up a few episodes... but MTV is going to have to think of something for Whitney. But sources say that Whitney wants her own reality show as well as Speidi (which would potentially get one, since Lauren refuses to do another season with them in it). Only time will tell!

Me too. Although I don't know how I feel about a show starring Whitney....it would be slightly boring, in my opinion. I like her but her purpose on the show is to be the one who responds to Lauren's stories.

E! just confirmed there would be 8 special episodes airing next Spring.... And they showed a snippit of an interview between Spencer and Ryan Seacrest said they wedding was on hold.. .and the reason is because Heidi wants the big fairytale wedding and he just wants to go somewhere quick and get married already? Something tells me that's not it.... Heidi said something about "I may be getting a new ring, so who knows" when asked about her not wearing her ring to the afterparty.
What if this "break" was just to gain interest in a spinoff Speidi show? I would be sooooo mad if that was the case... but whatever

I'm not surprised about the special 8 episodes next Spring - they're doing 4 for Newport Harbor right now. My boyfriend thinks the Hills is stupid but I just can't help myself!!!

Some of the spoiler seems legit. I mean in the "real world" having an internship at the same place forever, may not work in your favor. So Lauren "may" be better off doing something else fashion wise.
Ditto on the Whitney and Speidi thing, I'm drawing the line.
Plus I'm sure Teen Vogue has gotten their brand readership up enough that they don't really need the free publicity anymore.

Heidi Montag is all about kindness this year. “ The Hills” star says her New Years resolution is to be kind to everyone and not be judgmental.
“I just hope everyone is starting 2008 with a fresh clean slate like I am…I know at least I am going to try to start as hard as possible even when people don’t deserve kindness…I am still going to give them kindness!” she writes on her MySpace blog.
Could that mean a possible friendship between Montag and her former best friend Lauren Conrad? She does add that “ the past is the past” which means she’s putting the Conrad drama behind her as she is her engagement to Spencer Pratt.
Although she doesn’t comment on Pratt she does confirm she is single saying she’s looking forward to meeting “Hot guys because I’m single again.”

Perez Hilton says that the She-Pratt will be back a lot next season as LC's rival. And she's going to FIDM too. ICK!
Side note, last week's US Weekly said Lauren and Steven are back together. Not sure if it's true or false, but it's interesting.
