REALLY ? I kinda like both of their shoes. although I don't own any Most of what I like about Jessica Simpson's shoes are that a majority have HIGH heels... being 5'1, this appeals to me

I love my one pair of Jessica's. They got me through many a formal business meeting.

^ Those are cute! Definitely let those "pop" and pair them with neutrals like jeans and a solid top. Maybe complement them with a red bag! It's all about the bright colors for spring.

I need a fun but comfortable pair of sandals. Sometimes flip flops are just too casual here in NYC. Something I can wear on the weekends and will go from errands to a casual evening out. Any ideas?

Ahhh ZTAngel, I love and hate you for reviving this thread! *wipes away drool*
But yeah, I agree with Scully about the neutral outfit. Maybe khaki pants (dress pants, not like cargo...duh...) and a white blouse? Too boring?
I bought a pair of red heels and didn't wear them for a long time, but I finally wore them and got SO many compliments (and some were from people I didn't even know). They're solid red, so I wore them with jeans and a black top. Anyway, the point of that was this: go for it!

I got a pair of MICHAEL by Michael Kors canvas shoes from DSW for $20. I can't find an exact picture of them online, but they are similar in look to the jetset (only canvas instead of perforated leather) Mine are blue & white:

ZTAngel, I love a red shoe with navy pants or skirt. Navy's supposed to be a "new neutral" anyway. :-)
Red shoes also give an awesome pop to black pants, I think.

I just ordered these:
http://www.zappos.com/la-canadienne-...-black-leather
La Canadienne is fantastic -- they make dressy boots that are waterproof, warm, and have traction in the snow. Makes sense since they come from Montreal!
