That is exactly what I meant - I did not think she was in the organization- just wearing someone elses shirt for the fun of it. And yes- the girl was annoying but worst of all- her self esteem was the lowest of anyone I have ever seen! I think it was because she was so use to having 60 sisters around her to support her all the time - 100% - that she just could not cope being with a group that did not support her every word or action- she just did not know what to do. I wonder how she will ever make it in the real real world at a job with people that don't agree with everything you say or do? But then again, it was just a tv show Sue, why am I getting so involved! ha ha!

I don't know why I'm getting so into it, either. Anyway, I think the show is a farce. What's so real about 7 20-somethings living in a house in Black Point (one of THE ritziest neighboorhoods on Oahu) while working in sales at a surf shop?

So, have we found out what Kelly is? For some reason, I think she's a Chi-O (at least, I wouldn't be surprised, I remember hearing that). I've got the Casting Special somewhere on tape, I'll watch.
As much as I hated Amaya when I was watching the show, I feel really sorry for her now. She reminds me a lot of some of my friends. It's very sad.

In the earlier posts they mentioned that Kelly was a Pi Beta Phi. There were a few people saying she was.

I noticed that too and I thought I was hallucinating....
Perhaps Sigma Epsilon is a special sorority
Ruthie belongs to that stands for "Sloshed Eternally."

THANK YOU LOCALSORORITIES!!!!
When I saw letters on Ruthie I knew it had to be fake. Think about it everyone! It took me like two seconds to put it together.
Sigma Epsilon Chi==SEX
Perfect for Ruthie, No?
Hey localsororities, you haven't been around for awhile. Too caught up in the Sugar Bowl?

Not to get off the subject, but Ruthie's actually turned her life around since the RW ended. According to our school paper she hasn't had ANY (yes I said ANY) alcohol since the show ended, and that she's been sober ever since (I think People magazine said that too).
I hadn't even noticed the Sigma Epsilon Chi shirt...now that is hilarious .

Did they ever do a reunion show?

They did do a reunion show for RW seasons 5-8. I don't know if I'm right, but they featured Miami to Hawaii and they did a recap of what everyone's been up to. Matt and Colin were the only ones who didn't show up from the Hawaii cast, but that was because of job obligations.
Both Ruthie and Amaya were finishing up with school, so I think they'd probably be done right now.

OohTeenyWahine- thanks for the scoop! One last question and I'll drop this
At the reunion show- did Amaya show Kaia her "special" finger like she did in her farewell speech on the show? :O

I saw the reunion a few months ago and, unfortunately, Amaya didn't show Kaia her "special" finger. I think that Kaia definitely deserved it. Kaia seemed really out of it though. The whole entire show, she sat there with a spacey look on her face and looked really depressed. A few of the cast members commented on it. Amaya seemed to have matured a little. She even said something like 'the theme for tonight is "moving on".'
